River/Lake Height

This script will display your local data from the Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service. Wxriverpage.php will give viewers an overall summary of local river/lake heights. Wxriverdetail.php will give a detailed look at a gauge, showing records, stages of flood, forecast, and recent observations.

Station Records

This is for those running a web page that uses the testtags.php. This download contains three different pages. Each of these pages is designed to display records for a different time period (Monthly, Yearly, All Time), similar to the ones in Weather Display. In the future I would like to add correct translations to these pages. If you are willing to help translate send me an email at the bottom of the page.

TNETWeather's Weather-Display Project Page

TNETWeather is currently working on a number of projects related to the Weather-Display. This page will recap and provide information about those projects.

TNET has created the scripts on this page as a way of giving back to the Weather community. Most scripts are released under GNU General Public or Creative Commons Licenses. TNET accepts donations if you are inclined to do so via the PayPal system and also provides custom programming, web design and other custom projects are also available.

Rain Detail addon page for WD-AJAX-PHP-USA template

This is a add-on page for the WD-AJAX-PHP-USA package which can be found on the Saratoga Weather Scripts Page .

The page uses the existing Weather-Display dailynoaareport*.htm files to create a table that displays the years full year or seasonal year output.

Ajax-Dashboard Alternative 6.xx

A NEW alternative Multi-Language capable version of the ajax-dashboard offered by the Saratoga-Weather Script and the Ajax system from Ken True. This version also contains a NEW Version 3.04 of ajaxWDwx.js that is based off the 9.13 version by Rainer to work!!! This alternative adds in many additional sections and changes to the original dashboard including:
 

• Multi-Language file support
• External Configuration file to make updates easier
• Larger Temperature section with station records or optional Weather Underground records
• Daily highs for UV and Solar with UV Forecast at night and Solar stats at night.
• OPTIONAL Air Quality Index via RSS
• Added a PayPal Donation Section you customize to your own PayPal account
• Expanded Rain and Snow sections
• Rain when it's too cold to rain is now listed as snow melt
• Many minor changes to the original format
• If you are not already using ajaxWDwx.js version 9.13 see notes about it in version 5 above. The change to version 3 from 9.xx is not a problem

Ajax-Dashboard Alternative 5.xx

An NEW alternative to the Multi-Language capable version of dashboard offered by the Saratoga-Weather Script and the Ajax system from Ken True. This version also REQUIRES the NEW Version 9.11 of ajaxWDwx.js from Rainer to work!!! This alternative adds in many additional sections and changes to the original dashboard including:
 

• Multi-Language file support
• External Configuration file to make updates easier
• Moved Fire Index to top row, Cloud Hights/Outlook to 4th Row
• Daily highs for UV and Solar with UV Forecast at night and Solar stats at night.
• Added VERY OPTIONAL Air Quality Index (See Notes Below)
• Cleaned up a lot of the code
• Added Humidex High/Low for day
• Combined Sun and moon sections
• Many minor changes to the original format
• USE VERSION 4.20 IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE NEW AJAXWDWX.JS FROM RAINER OR IT WON'T WORK!

Ajax-Dashboard Alternative 4.xx
(PRE New AjaxWDwx.js from Rainer)

 

An alternative to the USA version of dashboard offered by the Saratoga-Weather Script and the ORIGINAL Ajax system from Ken True. This alternative adds in many additional sections and changes to the original dashboard including:
 

• Expanded Solar and UV sections
• Wind Chill and Heat Index (Switchs automatically based on Temperature)
• Heating and Cooling Degree days (Switchable automatically based on Temperature)
• Snow (Optional - Config to display in USA, Metric or CM's in one script)
• Lightning Strikes (Optional - Config to display in place of Snow)
• Irrigation Index (Solar required)
   
• Station Records
   
• NWS Records and New Record High/Low reading image (Can be turned on/off in config)
• Many minor changes to the original format

Weather Display Logfile Error Discovery Utility

This small DOS based utility will read your log files and print a list of possible errors in the log for you to manually fix. This utility does not make any modifications to the log files themselves, it simply points out possible errors based on the criteria you set. Works with US and Metric values.

Large Beveled Current Conditions ICONS
 

These are the 3D beveled icons I use with my alternative Ajax-Dashboard 4.xx (available above). You may need to modify your script to set the values so that they display larger graphics. See instructions in my script for details.

FIRE DANGER ICONS
 

Fire Danger icons were designed to be used with my alternative Ajax-Dashboard (available above) as well as the original scripts. These should be a direct replacement for your current Fire Danger icons. The idea was to have more the "glass" button type image. Because of the "glass" type graphic, the image doesn't really work well on non-white backgrounds. The archive contains both the .GIF and .JPG versions of the icons.

WINDROSE SQUARE/ROUND STYLE DIRECTION GRAPHICS
 

These "Windrose" style graphics were designed again for the "glass" look and something a bit more simple. The direction is written out in the center with the arrow in the ball. Simply download the graphics and place them in the same directory your current windrose graphics are in. Because of the square "glass" type graphic, the square image version should work well on non-white backgrounds better then the plain round version below! NOTE: These graphics are 74x74 and a bit bigger then the default 58x58 that are normally used.

These pages uses the existing Weather Display dailynoaareport*.htm and climatedataout*.html files to create tables to display the output.

Requirements:

• You need to be uploading the dailynoaareport*.htm and climatedataout*.html files to your website.
• PHP5
• JpGraph is also required for the Dailynoaareport graphs.

PHP Weather Scripts

This page shows some of the PHP scripts and code used to run our website. Some of this code was written by myself. Some of this code was adapted from other's code. I will do my best to show to give credit to those who originated the source of these PHP scripts.

Before we jump in I wanted to take a moment to explain PHP. PHP is a widely used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML. It generally runs on a web server, taking PHP code as its input and creating web pages as output. It can be deployed on most web servers and on almost every operating system and platform free of charge.

Most important thing to remember is PHP runs on the web server prior to the client's browser seeing the HTML code. So PHP does not show as part of the web page's source code. Almost all of the available weather site code is available in PHP. It makes sense to invest in learning more about this language. To learn more visit The PHP Group and simply search Google.
